Hot Dip Coated Flat Steels Suitable for Cold Forming
EN 10346: 2009
This type of flat steels provide advantage for forming with their minimum level of yield strength and tensile strength. Qualities coming after DX51; have more operation capability of drawing, forming in presses and cold forming.

1) Tensile strength test is applied to samples which are taken perpendicularly to the rolling direction.
2) For thicknesses of ≤ 0.70 mm, but > 0.50 mm, the minimum values for fracture elongation are reduced by 2 units, for thicknesses of ≤ 0.50 mm by 4 units.
3) Yield Strength value is under guarantee for B and C surface products which are re-rolled after coating.
4) For thickness > 2 mm, the r90 value sis reduced by 0.2.
5) If the thickness ≤ 0.70 mm, r90 value is accepted by a 0.2 unit lower, n90 value is accepted by a 0.01 unit lower.
